Event Overview:
2014 marks the 23nd annual Gordon McCall’s Motorworks Revival – kick-off party to the world famous Monterey Car Week. The event will feature everything befitting a bespoke lifestyle: gourmet food and wine, state-of-the-art aircraft, the latest sports and luxury cars, and good friends in an intimate evening setting of 2,800 guests.

The McCall Lounge Areas:
The corners of each of the two hangars will feature premium hospitality lounges: Various foods and beverages will be served throughout the evening to engage each guest in a variety of California specialties. Guests will enjoy a movable feast as they stroll throughout the event. Starting the soiree with French cuisine inspired by regional organic flavors, moving to sushi, oysters and caviar thus showering the entry to the event and each hangar in cold bites from local culinary artisans with a uniquely epicurean style. As guests make their way to the back of the hangars, they will delight in a plethora of comfort foods: Grilled artisan cheese sandwiches dipped in farm-fresh tomato soup, panini sandwiches hot off the grill filled with local organic faire, pulled-pork complimented by melted cheese, and beef sliders from the best butcher shop in town, and a seafood medley that gives new definition to the “catch of the day”.
Concluding the evening’s festivities, pastry aficionado and sports car racer Roland d’Abel will delight the crowd with authentic French pastries, tarts, and cookies, along with fresh coffee and espresso beverages made to order.

McCall’s Red Carpet Reception – New for 2014:
A hand selected group of Gordon McCall’s closest friends, along with media and an exclusive group of Red Carpet ticket holders find their way into the Red Carpet Reception Courtyard in the main event entry area one hour prior to the event opening. Red Carpet Guests will be greeted with Roederer Estate champagne, sophisticated lite bites from French culinary artist Jerome Viel from Ben Pon’s own Will’s Fargo Restaurant in Carmel Valley, and a meet and greet reception including photos with host Gordon McCall and celebrity guest Danny Sullivan.
The McCall VIP Drive-In – New for 2014:
Gordon McCall selects close friends to arrive in “first-class” driving style directly on to the Monterey Jet Center tarmac. 30 unique and eclectic vintage cars will arrive via escort to enjoy the Red Carpet Reception and usher in the 2014 Motorworks festivities.
The Quail Rally Returns:
30 of the most coveted vintage cars arrive in style for the conclusion of the ultra-exclusive Quail Rally and it’s 60 participants. Arriving with VIP CHP motorcycle escort, The Quail Rally vehicles will park on the tarmac and display their vintage sports cars for everyone in attendance.
