Le Mans, 19 June – As the eyes of the Endurance racing world turn to the French region of la Sarthe for the legendary Le Mans 24 Hours race, the most prevalent car at the event will be Ferrari.

In support of the 24 hours will be a race for the Ferrari Challenge Europe combining the Coppa Shell and Trofeo Pirelli categories. Entered in total for the race there are 46 cars, due to the nature of the race with a compulsory pit stop there are a total of 57 drivers.

One man to watch will be Italian Dario Caso (#8) who, after his excellent performance last time out in Brno, now leads the Trofeo Pirelli championship. Not to be ruled out is the winner of the race last time the championship visited Le Mans in 2011, Philipp Baron (#91). David Gostner (#160) leads the Coppa Shell, but hot on his heels is German driver Dirk Adamski (#199) who trails him by only five points and will be keen to take the championship lead.
