Ferrari Racing Days – Growing anticipation for the great Budapest event

Maranello, 9 June – The most anticipated event of the motorsport summer season is only two weeks away. We are talking about Budapest’s Ferrari Racing Days which will mobilise hundreds of journalists and thousands of spectators at the Hungaroring, all attracted by the activities scheduled on the track.
Not just on the track. There will be activity on the track, certainly, but not just there, as there will be great attractions in the paddock too. First of all, the whole Ferrari range, with all current models of the Maranello Firm, including LaFerrari and California T, the perfect car for this season of the year. The paddock will also host the activities of Shell, a long-standing Technical Partner of the Scuderia Ferrari, which will allow visitors to discover some technical insights from inside the Shell Trackside Laboratory that travels to each Grand Prix. Shell’s dedicated Formula One Technicians will also be on site to meet fans and answer any burning questions they have.
Vettel and the Scuderia. However, the greatest anticipation is for Sebastian Vettel, who will be at the centre of an exhibition with the Scuderia Ferrari for the first time. The German ace will drive an F60 equipped with a normally aspirated V8 engine, used until the end of the 2013 season and that is powered by Shell V-Power fuel and Shell Helix Ultra with PurePlus Technology lubricant. Seb will simulate pit stops with the Formula 1 mechanics and will then perform very fast laps, lightning starts, and frightening rubber burns. And, after all, with Seb on the track, could the famous doughnuts be missing?
FXX K. The official début of the FXX K, the latest car of the XX Programmes, will also capture the spectators’ attention. The car will be driven by the first group of customers-test pilots (a special feature of this special Ferrari initiative) who will cover the track at the wheel of the 1050 horsepower car derived from LaFerrari. The Formula 1 Clienti cars and other XX cars will also be there.
The sport. Competition will not be absent at Budapest; it is in Ferrari’s DNA and will find its perfect expression in the two daily Ferrari Challenge Europe races, subdivided into Trofeo Pirelli and Coppa Shell, on Saturday and Sunday. As always, the two races will be incredibly hard-fought and entertaining, with wheel to wheel duels and great driving performances by the drivers at the wheel of the 458 Challenge EVO.
