Ferrari Design receives the “Red Dot: Best of the Best” trophy for the FXX K
Essen, 30th June – The Ferrari Design Centre officially received the “Red Dot: Best of the Best”, trophy for the FXX K at the prize ceremony held in Essen on monday. The black-tie gala event marked the culmination of the “Red Dot Award: Product Design 2015”, where international design experts and manufacturers met media representatives from all over the world on the red carpet.
During the Designers’ Night the FXX K was presented alongside LaFerrari and California T which were both awarded with Red Dot Awards by the international jury for the high quality of their design. The Red Dot is considered across industries to be the revered international seal of outstanding design quality. This year has been particularly special with the Red Dot awards celebrating their 60th anniversary alongside a new record of 4,928 innovative entries from 56 nations participating in this year’s competition.
On accepting the award Ferrari Senior Vice President of Design Centre, Flavio Manzoni, commented “For our team, winning the Red Dot for three models, and then also receiving the Best of the Best for the FXX K is a marvellous achievement. We are very proud of the company’s overwhelming success at this year’s event.”
