The Ferrari spectacular winds its way from Paris to Biarritz

Maranello, 28th April – After 1,900 kilometres, the 24th edition of the Tour Auto has reached its finish-line in sunny Biarritz. It proved an unforgettable experience for all 233 participants who set off from the Grand Palais in Paris, taking in lovely cities of the likes of Vichy, Clermont-Ferrand and Toulouse, as they made their way across France. The owners also had the opportunity to put their cars to the test on the historic circuits at Magny-Cours and Pau before they reached the Basque Coast. They were joined en route too by dozens of Ferrari clients and collectors in models past and present, including F40s, FFs, a 250 GTO, F12berlinettas, a 275 GTB and LaFerraris. A spectacular addition to an already spectacular event.

Prancing Horse cars past and present take to the Tour Auto route

Toulouse, 24 April – After the stunning presentation of the Ferrari 488 GTB at the Grand Palais in Paris, the Tour Auto is now underway and heading across France towards its final destination, the lovely city of Biarritz. Around 70 Ferraris will take part in the various road and track stages of the Tour. They will include glorious past models of the likes of the extraordinary 250 GTO, several 275 GTBs and the 308, a very rare Ferrari rally car, as well as those from the current range, notably the F12berlinetta, the FF, the California T and the 458 Speciale. The Tour Auto takes in some of France’s most charming areas, such as Vichy, Clermont Ferrand and Chateau de Courances, as well historic circuits of the likes of Magny-Cours and Albi.

Unveiling in Paris of the new V8 and start of the Tour Auto

Paris, 22 April – The 488 GTB was the star of the Grand Palais for two days, for its French premiere at the departure of the Tour Auto. Hundreds of guests and journalist joined the unveilings, that took place at the presence of the Scuderia Ferrari test driver Jean Eric Vergne and the former Formula 1 driver Jacques Lafitte.
Over 200 exceptional cars, among which a 250 GTO and a few 275 GTB, left Paris on Tuesday morning to discover the most beautiful roads of France. All these lucky drivers will join Biarritz on Saturday afternoon for an stunning arrival on the seaside.
